Do you want to take full responsibility for a service center and lead a team towards common goals? Our client CalorMet is now looking for a Service Center Manager for their operations in Västerås.

As a Service Center Manager, you will have operational responsibility for the local operations. You will lead a team consisting of 4 service technicians, 1 planner/purchaser, and 1 warehouse manager.

You will ensure that daily operations run efficiently, that staff have the right conditions to perform their work, and that deliveries are made with good quality. You will also have a coordination responsibility towards our sister company, VSM, which performs advanced machining, welding, and other mechanical operations.

• Lead and distribute work within the service center

• Ensure that service technicians have the right resources and planning

• Act as project manager for in-house projects as well as for certain customer projects

• Be responsible for customer contact and host visits from customers and suppliers

• Drive the development of the operations

• Manage the purchase of spare parts

• Administer expenses and working hours

• Approve supplier invoices

• Ensure that staff have relevant training and that it is kept up to date

We are looking for someone with a technical background, such as a mechanic or equivalent practical experience. You have previous leadership experience and are comfortable leading a group with different personalities and strong wills. You work in a structured and organized manner, preferably with project management experience. You are solution-oriented, proactive, and have a strong personal drive.
